Koh Mook, often also called Koh Muk, is a small idyllic island in the Andaman Sea in the south of Thailand. Much of the island consists of deep jungle and intact nature, as well as small, charming villages. The coast, in turn, is lined with palm trees, gigantic cliffs and gorgeous beaches that invite to relax.

The small island of Koh Ngai (or Koh Hai) is barely 4 km long by 2 km wide, and has 4 beaches and 2 or 3 paths that can only be covered on foot. So there are no roads, and therefore no cars or motorcycles. Not even mountain bikes are of any use in this small patch of land lost in the middle of the Andaman Sea.

Between the islands, there several daily speedboats that stop in Koh Ngai along the route between Koh Lanta and Koh Lipe. Bundhaya and Satun Pakbara are the cheapest on the short routes (300B to Koh Kradan / 350-400B to Koh Mook), while Tigerline offers slightly faster service and different times.
